Jim DeFilippi was born and raised in Duck Alley, just across the New York City line. He served during the Vietnam War era and then taught school in northern Vermont for over thirty years. He has published more than thirty books, including crime fiction, humor, general fiction, history, stage drama, screenplays, even some poetry and a cookbook.
Marcia lives in Vermont with her husband and two kids. She is the author of the Eddie Red Undercover series, a middle grade mystery series about a boy with a photographic memory who becomes a sketch artist for the NYPD. The first book, “Mystery on Museum Mile”, was an Edgars Finalist, and has appeared on numerous state reading lists such as Florida, Connecticut and Maine, as well as Time Magazine’s “Best Books of the Summer”.
Sam Clark is a builder, designer, and cabinetmaker based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Plainfield, Vermont. He has written several books on design and building, including The Motion-Minded Kitchen, and The Independent Builder. This is his first mystery.
