Jim DeFilippi was born and raised in Duck Alley, just across the New York City line. He served during the Vietnam War era and then taught school in northern Vermont for over thirty years. He has published more than thirty books, including crime fiction, humor, general fiction, history, stage drama, screenplays, even some poetry and a cookbook.
